William Rongholt

William Rongholt is a science fiction author whose work explores the human cost of survival in vast, often unforgiving universes. His Chronicles of the Space Marauders series blends space opera, political tension, and deeply personal character journeys set against the cold expanse of the stars.

With roots in tabletop role-playing and narrative design, Rongholt brings a systems-driven approach to storytelling—where choices carry weight, alliances shift, and no victory comes without consequence. His stories are shaped by moral ambiguity, found family, and the question of what people are willing to become when the universe pushes back.

A note from the author

I write to discover my world. I build systems, cultures, and conflicts, then place characters inside them to see what holds, what breaks, and what they become. Each story teaches me something new about the universe—and about the people who have to survive in it.
